If you weren’t a dentist, what would you be?

There’s a lot that goes behind a bright, healthy smile.” When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Spoden enjoys outdoor recreational activities with his family. He is married with two daughters.

If you weren’t a dentist, what would you be?
“A cattle farmer. I have fond memories of growing up on a hobby farm and I enjoy working outside.”

Dr. David L. Cannon, DDS

Education:
Required preparatory courses earned at Louisiana State University
DDS:Loyola of the South, New Orleans, LA

Personal:
“Every interaction that I have with patients is like making a new friend. I enjoy developing relationships by really listening to people. It’s enjoyable to learn what they think of life’s challenges and rewards. Of course, I’m thrilled if I can lend a hand in giving a different perspective. Conversations are as diverse as the patients themselves, while we’re doing dentistry, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. One of the most satisfying parts of dentistry is when I help people to feel better.”

“My wife and I have 4 children and 12 grandchildren. We’re fortunate to live on a beautiful lake in Alexandria, MN where I spend my spare time fishing.”
